Spring time means hikes. It was beautiful out tonight and so I rushed home determined to take you and Bailey out. We went to Eagle Island for the first time. It was so peaceful, no one was there. Just us and it was perfect.

So Funny...
This scene made your Dad and I laugh.
You woke up and went downstairs on your own. Once I realized this and
went to look for you, I found this scene. You have never had fun dip
before in your life but somehow you found it in a bowl (that is
usually up on the fridge but was on the counter) and opened up the
fun dip. You told me it was 'ummy' and despite having never had or
seeing fun dip before, you still knew exactly what the purpose of the
stick was and how to use it.
Grandpa's Airplane
Grandpa bought an airplane last year.
You got to go on it once already with Dad, but I haven't gotten to
go. So we finally had our chance. Grandpa had to take the airplane
between Caldwell and Nampa for an inspection so we tagged along.
Unfortunately Grandpa didn't know what hangar to take the plane to so
we ended up driving around the Caldwell airport for almost an hour.
You were so good and so patient in the car. I was very proud of you,
even though the suspense was killing you to go to the plane, you made
it. This delay turned out to be a good thing though because it was
dumping rain and we weren't going to be able to go up anyway. By the
time we finally got to the plane the sky had cleared and we had a
beautiful flight.
You were very quiet on the plane as if
you were taking everything in. I must admit it is much different
being in a plane like this where you can really distinguish the
ground to flying in a commercial plane at 10,000 feet. I think you
realized the awe and beauty in this and were taking it all in.
Below are a few of the pictures. You
are quite intrigued with umbrellas as of the moment and spent the
time after the flight opening and closing the umbrella. You were
quite proud of yourself.

Easter
Easter was so much fun this year. Our neighborhood had a huge Easter egg hunt on Saturday that we got to participate in. It was perfect since there were only about 20 kids and about 500 eggs. You were more interested in opening the eggs than collecting them, so you were happy with the few you got.
At home the Easter Bunny hid eggs for you and you figured out the concept of finding them which was so fun as some of them you didn't find until much later in the day. Your Easter basket had Transformers in it which was a total hit. You played with them all day and haven't put them down since. The Easter Bunny had a winner there!
We went to Grandma and Grandpa's for brunch and you got to hunt for eggs outside. You even helped cousin Caitlin find some eggs and shared your findings with her. It was very sweet. Then you played with your new bugs from your eggs with Great Grandma.
After brunch it was off to Nana and Popper's house. We had Easter dinner with them and you got to show of your Transformers to everyone and played them with Uncle Grae.
