Nononono.....

It's official you have learned the word no. It's been a few weeks and it has just been getting increasingly more adorable as time goes by because in addition to saying no you shake you head back and forth when you say it. Your Dad and I will cherish this as we know there will come a time when the No's are not as sweet. Here are a few of my favorite thus far.

You are loving to do things that you aren't supposed to do (your favorite being getting into the toilet and playing in the water) and as you are doing the thing you aren't supposed to be doing you shake your head, look at us and say nonono. Yet, even though you know what you aren't supposed to do, you still continue to do it!

My favorite, and your Dad's least favorite happened in the middle of the night last week. I was really tired and for some reason you woke up at about 12:30 at night. Your Dad was still awake so he offered to go in and get you. When he went into your room you were standing in your crib and as soon as you spotted him you shook your head and said nonono and through yourself down on the crib and started crying. You were so upset that it wasn't me coming to get you. He proceeded to pick you up crying and all and then the second he brought you into me you snuggled up next to me and closed your eyes literally in two seconds and went to sleep. Apparently you just needed your momma. Boy it made your Dad feel bad, but it made me feel oh so loved.

We went camping this weekend. Your godparents Matt and Tina went with us and so they really got to see your nonono in action. Matt thought it would be fun to teach you to wave your finger back and forth as you say no. So he started to do this to you when we were camping and it sure didn't take long for you to catch on to this and you have not started waving your finger as you say no.
