Your dear God Parents Matt and Tina got married today. They wanted you to be in the wedding as the ring bearer but as we gave it a trial run during the rehearsal you couldn't walk down the 'aisle' and only wanted to go to the pond to play. So we ultimately decided to just have you come to the reception. It was a beautiful wedding. After the wedding you got to have another sleepover with Nana at her house.

Go Fight BSU!
Football is back! Yay!! We bought you a new jersey to celebrate. We are also eyeing a sweatshirt we want once it gets closer to fall.
The first two pics were pre me giving you a much needed haircut. Pic number two just shows how much of a cheeseball you can be right now!

Picky Eater
And here I thought we had a foodie on our hands! You have officially become a picky toddler when it comes to eating. Right now your diet consists of the following: fruits, frozen veggies, waffles, eggs, macaroni and cheese, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, spaghetti with no meat, and cold cereal. I will be talking to the doctor next week at the appointment. Some is healthy food, some not so much.
The pic below is what we get right now any time we try to get you to try out a new food you haven't had before.

Your Inner Voice
I read somewhere the quote "Watch what you say to your children because your words will become their inner voice." I have taken this to heart and really try to praise you when you do well and I am always trying to cheer you on. Well, I think Dad and I have done a good job. We bought this tunnel for you at Rite Aid (it was on sale for $5) and you absolutely love it. Every time you would crawl through you would laugh and clap and cheer for yourself. I think our words and praise are becoming your 'inner voice!'
A few pics of the process and a video as well for your family that is missing you dearly and watching you grow up through this blog.

Summer Rainstorms
One of my favorite parts of summer are the rainstorms. I love the smell of the Earth after it rains and I love that the rain is warm and refreshing during the summertime. It is the one time you can really be out in it and not worry about catching a cold.
This summer has been a fabulous year for rain and thunderstorms. We had one yesterday and so I decided to take you out in it for your first experience. You had so much fun and it is something I will never forget. You held your hands up to the sky and waved them shouting 'wa-wa' (for water) and squealed in delight. As it started to really dump we stood in the garage and watched it come down. Once it slowed a bit we wandered out of shelter to have some more fun. You were fascinated with the water coming out of the gutter.
Of course what would playing in the rain be without puddles? Dad asked me if I was going to let you go in the puddles. So we took you out to the gutter next to the sidewalk and Dad showed you how to properly splash through the puddle - in his jeans and everything! You ran back and forth screaming and laughing. Dad and I both laughed and looked at each other shocked as you proceeded to lay down in the gutter and splash around. I took a video and a few pics of you playing with Dad in the water.

Loves
I suspected today that you had an ear infection because of the way you were pulling on your ear and your poor sleeping over the past two nights. So, I decided to take you to the Express Care today to get you checked out. Although you were a happy boy, you sure did have an ear infection.
So we sat and waited at the Rite Aid for quite some time to get your prescription. As we were waiting you were so sweet. You wrapped your little arms around my neck and placed your hands on the back of my head and just planted kiss after kiss on me. Then you hugged me and repeated the process over and over. Normally I get a hug and kiss then you are on your merry way. So I thought this was very sweet. Although you can't talk well yet you sure were telling me just how much you love your momma.
