* Monkey see - monkey do! You are mimicking everything we do right now. If I put my foot in the water you will, if I make a funny face you will. You want to try and do anything and everything that we are doing. It is very cute.
* You flirt!! You like to ham it up for strangers and blow kisses to make them see how adorable you are.
* Climbing on everything and getting very proficient at the playgrounds. Most of the time you do the playgrounds on your own even though I am frequently hovering in case you fall!
* Currently you have about 5 teeth coming in. Two on the top (one on each side) that has broken through but isn't all the way in, and then 2 on the right lower side of your mouth and 1 on the lower left side. Needless to say it has made for a cranky baby every once and a while. In total if you count the two that have started to break through you have 10 teeth.
* Watching and understanding TV. You have started to watch Curious George and you understand it. Your Dad and I think this is adorable. While on our trip to the coast you watched as George and the Man in the Yellow hat played peek a boo and chase with his hat and I could see you smiling as you found the humor in what was going on. The fact that you understood was just something that your Dad and I thought was so cute.
Things You Are Doing Right Now That I Love:
* You are starting to be a 'cheese ball' as we call it. You will put on this huge grins and squinty eyes. Very similar to what you did during Hawaii when you would smile all weird, but unlike then when it was because that was how you smiled, now you do it to be funny.
* Dancing! You and I will stomp our feet and twirl in circles while shaking our arms. I love it.
* Feeding the dog is the highlight of your morning and evening. You get so excited to feed Bailey because we let you scoop her food and give her bowl to her. In fact you try many times throughout the day to feed her and we have to tell you no. We let you feed her treats when it is treat time too.
* You are a water baby. It is summer time and I try to let you swim in the kiddie pool we got you, run through the sprinklers, or play at a splash pad at least three times a week.
